Job Description
This is a full-time, in-person role as a Merchandising Executive based at our Head Office within the Apparel/Garment Manufacturing industry. This position is a critical support function to the Senior Merchandising team, focusing on the operational backbone of the order lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented coordinator, ensuring seamless flow from sampling to production through meticulous file management and systematic updates. Important Note: This role is not in fashion design nor a trainee position; it requires direct, hands-on experience in apparel merchandising.
Key Responsibilities:
Sampling & Follow-ups:
• Coordinate sampling activities with factories and vendors.
• Track sample status and adherence to critical timelines.
• Maintain organized records of all samples and their approval statuses.
Skill Requirement
We seek a proactive and systematic individual with foundational experience in the garment manufacturing process. Strong organizational skills, proficiency with data systems, and excellent follow-up abilities are essential for success in this supportive team role. Mandatory Requirements:
• Industry Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Apparel/Garment Merchandising is mandatory.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of garment sampling, BOM creation, and production workflow.
• Software Skills: Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience handling ERP or similar operational systems.
• Core Competencies: Strong follow-up, coordination, and communication abilities.
• Role Suitability: Willingness to excel in a support role at the Head Office.
