Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Data Entry Operator for a temporary 3-month contract based in Vikhroli West, Mumbai. The role requires immediate joining and focuses on accurately processing and managing textual and numerical information from various source documents. You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, generating reports, and supporting essential office administrative functions.
Accurately input customer and account data from source documents into designated systems within set time limits.
Compile, verify, and sort information to prepare source data for efficient computer entry.
Review all data for deficiencies or errors, correct incompatibilities where possible, and validate output.
Research and obtain further information to complete any incomplete documents.
Apply standard data program techniques and procedures for all tasks.
Generate required reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform routine backup operations.
Scan documents, print files as needed, and ensure the proper use and maintenance of office equipment.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all information and respond to queries by accessing relevant files.
Comply fully with all data integrity, security policies, and administrative protocols.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with proven data entry experience, proficiency in MS Office, and strong organizational skills. A high school diploma (12th pass) or B.Com degree is required, along with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly and work with a high degree of accuracy.
Educational qualification of Higher Secondary (12th Pass) required; B.Com is an advantage.
Proven work experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk (1 year preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, and data programs.
Fast and accurate typing skills with excellent knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Good organizational skills with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
Familiarity with administrative duties and office equipment like scanners and printers.
Proficiency in English is preferred.
