V.K. Lalco Group is hiring a skilled Architectural Draftsman for Veekaylal Investment Co. Pvt. Ltd. at our Borivali office. This full-time role places you within a multidisciplinary engineering team, where you will be responsible for translating architectural and engineering concepts into precise technical drawings. You will work on a variety of residential and commercial real estate projects, utilizing both manual sketching and advanced CADD systems.
Your primary duties involve creating detailed drawings from specifications, performing material calculations, and ensuring all designs comply with building regulations. Effective collaboration is key, as you will work closely with architects and engineers, integrating their feedback and identifying potential design issues early. While primarily office-based, the role may require occasional site visits to support project needs. Success demands a detail-oriented professional committed to accuracy and staying current with drafting technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed technical drawings following specifications and calculations.
• Prepare rough sketches and precise drawings using CADD systems like AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform calculations for materials and structural limitations.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers, incorporating their input into drawings.
• Review and redraft drawings alongside the engineering team.
• Ensure final designs comply with all relevant building regulations.
• Identify and communicate potential design problems proactively.
Skill Requirement
We seek a highly proficient draftsman with substantial, specific experience in Mumbai’s real estate sector. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of municipal submission processes, building norms, and material specifications. Expertise in producing a comprehensive range of drawings—from working and MEP drawings to interior and layout plans—is mandatory. You must be a self-motivated professional who is updated on the latest market trends and drafting technologies.
A strong educational background in architectural drafting and a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience are essential. Fluency in English and proficiency in key software are required to effectively liaise with internal teams and external authorities.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (required).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman in Real Estate (Residential & Commercial).
• Comprehensive knowledge of building norms, material specs, and market costing.
• Proven ability to prepare drawings for Municipal submission and liaise with approval staff.
• Expertise in creating Working, MEP, Municipal, Interior, and Layout Drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and collaborative skills.
Education & Other Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Drafting (required).
• Fluency in English (required).
• Ability to work in person at our Borivali, Mumbai location.

• Pay: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month
