Job Description
The Packing and Warehouse Executive plays a vital role in ensuring that every customer order is processed with precision and care. Based in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, this full-time position involves managing the end-to-end packing workflow—from initial order verification and quality checks to final system updates. You will be responsible for folding garments according to brand standards, selecting optimal packaging to control shipping costs, and accurately labeling parcels for dispatch. By maintaining an organized workstation and updating the Order Management System (OMS), you ensure that every product leaves the warehouse in perfect condition and reaches the customer on time.
Order Management: Verify SKU, size, color, and quantity against system orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
Packaging Excellence: Fold garments neatly and utilize cost-effective packaging to keep volumetric weight under 500g.
System & Logistics: Scan barcodes, print shipping labels, and update order statuses in Excel or WMS.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections for defects or stains and organize packages by courier for daily pickup.
Skill Requirement
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a strong eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. While a 12th-pass qualification is the minimum requirement, a degree in Commerce, Business, or Logistics is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using basic technology, such as barcode scanners and order management software, while maintaining a high standard of physical organization. Since the role directly impacts shipping costs and brand reputation, a proactive approach to quality control and package optimization is essential.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to use barcode scanners, mobile devices, and basic Microsoft Excel.
Operational Precision: Strong skills in garment folding and choosing appropriate packaging materials (polybags/boxes).
Detail Orientation: Sharp focus to identify SKU mismatches or garment defects during the quality check process.
Efficiency & Reliability: Capability to handle repetitive tasks with speed while meeting strict daily dispatch deadlines.
