Selection Process
The RITES Senior Technical Assistant selection will be carried out in two phases – Written Test and Document Scrutiny.
Phase I – Written Test
- Candidates must appear for the written test at the schedule and venue mentioned in their admit card.
- The written test carries 100% weightage in the selection process.
- Minimum qualifying marks:
- UR / EWS: 50%
- SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PWD (Reserved): 45%
- The written test will have 125 objective-type questions, each carrying 1 mark, and will last 2.5 hours.
- No negative marking will be applied.
- PWD candidates are eligible for 50 minutes of additional compensatory time.
Phase II – Document Scrutiny
- After the written test, the uploaded documents of shortlisted candidates will be verified by RITES Ltd.
- Only candidates who qualify the written test will proceed to this stage.
