Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Production Engineer to support our production operations. The role involves coordinating with vendors, performing quality inspections, and assisting in testing activities to ensure smooth manufacturing processes and timely delivery of high-quality products. You will play a key part in maintaining production efficiency and product reliability.
• Support vendor development and coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery.
• Verify incoming materials meet required quality and technical standards.
• Perform quality checks on bought-out items and machined components against drawings.
• Conduct in-process inspections to maintain quality and prevent defects throughout production.
• Assist in testing and functional verification of blowers, heaters, and motors before dispatch.
• Maintain detailed production, inspection, and testing reports for each machine.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate should have a strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments. You must be able to interpret fabrication drawings and possess basic knowledge of welding and electrical systems. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of relevant industrial experience preferred.
• Proficiency with vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and understand dimensions, tolerances, and fitment.
• Basic knowledge of welding processes (GTAW, SMAW) and electrical systems is an advantage.
• Must reside in Navi Mumbai, Thane, or Mumbai region.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn and adapt.
