We are looking for a motivated and technically adept Automation Sales Engineer to join our team. In this customer-facing role, you will be the primary driver of our growth, responsible for building relationships, understanding complex client needs in mission-critical industries, and translating them into successful automation solutions. You will bridge the gap between our engineering excellence and our clients’ operational challenges, traveling extensively to demonstrate value and close deals that shape the future of industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers across India and international markets.
• Travel to client sites to conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and detailed application discussions.
• Analyze customer requirements and operational challenges to propose tailored automation and robotics solutions.
• Collaborate closely with internal design and engineering teams to develop accurate, competitive quotations and technical proposals.
• Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and contributing to business growth.
Skill Requirement
We are seeking a results-oriented professional with a solid engineering background and a proven track record in B2B technical sales. The ideal candidate combines technical acumen with commercial savvy, excels in communication, and thrives in an autonomous, travel-intensive role. You are passionate about technology and driven by the challenge of solving complex industrial problems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in technical/field sales, preferably within the automation, robotics, or capital equipment industry.
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to understand engineering designs, drawings, and industrial applications.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time).
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
