Health Within Reach Foundation (HWRF) is a non-profit organization delivering tech-enabled healthcare to underserved communities via mobile polyclinics. We are hiring a full-time Dentist for our Mobile Clinic in Koregaon Park, Pune. This role involves travel to various field locations to provide essential camp-based dental services, offering a unique and rewarding opportunity to directly serve the community while enhancing your clinical skills in a diverse setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive dental consultations and procedures, including fillings, extractions, scaling, X-rays, and root canals within the mobile clinic.
• Ensure strict adherence to sterilization protocols, clinical hygiene, and biomedical waste management compliance.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care to promote long-term health.
• Collaborate effectively with dental assistants and community outreach staff during organized health camps.
• Maintain accurate and timely digital patient records using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Skill Requirement
We are seeking a committed dental professional passionate about community health. The ideal candidate will thrive in a mobile, camp-based environment and be dedicated to making quality care accessible. Required Qualifications & Skills:
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a practicing Dentist is required.
• Proficiency in performing common dental procedures and operating mobile dental equipment.
• Strong commitment to following infection control and safety protocols meticulously.
• Excellent patient communication and community education skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, mobile healthcare setting.
• Competence in using digital systems for maintaining patient records.
