Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various settings. This hands-on role requires a strong technical background, a commitment to safety standards, and the ability to provide reliable service to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will be instrumental in performing routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring our AC systems operate efficiently year-round.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Performing diagnostic tests and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults in AC units.
• Carrying out routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and calibrating thermostats.
• Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and industry standards.
• Providing excellent customer service by clearly explaining issues, repairs, and maintenance recommendations.
• Maintaining accurate service records, including work completed, parts used, and time spent.
• Responding promptly to emergency repair requests and participating in on-call duties if required.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a certified technician with practical experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail. You must be physically fit, able to work independently, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
We require:
• A certification or diploma in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or a related field (ITI/Diploma preferred).
• Proven experience (typically 1-3+ years) as an AC Technician, with hands-on installation and repair skills.
• Strong knowledge of AC electrical circuits, components, refrigerants, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Physical fitness to handle tools, lift equipment, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to repairs.
• Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for service calls.
