Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site contract position for a CAD Pattern Maker located in Mumbai. You will be instrumental in bridging design and production, transforming creative concepts into precise, manufacturable garment patterns. Your technical expertise will ensure the highest standards of fit and construction are met.
Your core responsibilities will include:
• Producing accurate garment patterns using advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Translating design concepts and tech packs into precise patterns suitable for fabrication.
• Ensuring excellence in fitting, pattern making, and garment construction details.
• Collaborating closely with design and production teams to meet specifications and timelines.
• Preparing, adjusting, and troubleshooting patterns to resolve any design or fit challenges.
Skill Requirement
We are seeking a meticulous and technically skilled pattern maker with a strong foundation in both digital tools and traditional garment construction. Experience in high-end fashion is highly valued.
The required skills and qualifications are:
• Strong proficiency in Pattern Design, Pattern Making, and Fitting.
• Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for garment pattern creation.
• Practical experience with sewing techniques and fabric construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of garment construction.
• Specific ability to operate the latest version of GEMINI CAD software.
Preferred qualifications:
• Relevant experience in luxury, couture, or high-end fashion.
• A degree or certification in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
