Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Deonar, Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, simulating, and testing electrical systems and circuits based on specific customer requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet quality standards, prepare comprehensive documentation, and provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle—from concept to commissioning and maintenance.
Your core responsibilities will include:
• Preparing electrical schematic diagrams and performing simulations using software tools like MATLAB or PSpice.
• Designing electrical circuits, determining component ratings, and generating technical specifications.
• Creating wiring diagrams, test protocols, and inspection guidelines for Quality and Production teams.
• Conducting rigorous testing to verify systems and components meet required standards and performance criteria.
• Coordinating with technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Documenting all testing activities, component specifications, and drafting operational manuals.
• Training technicians and junior engineers on design standards, testing procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Staying updated with the latest industry technologies, trends, and regulatory standards.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, hands-on experience in circuit design and testing, and proficiency in simulation tools. You should be analytical, proactive, and capable of delivering precise documentation while working collaboratively in a technical environment.
Mandatory requirements and skills for this position include:
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a CGPA > 6.5.
• 0–3 years of experience in Electrical Circuit Design/Testing, preferably in Power Electronics.
• Proficiency in circuit simulation using software such as MATLAB, PSpice, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience in circuit assembly, testing, and debugging.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to design schematics, interpret technical requirements, and validate electrical systems.
• Good communication skills and the ability to train and guide junior team members.
• Awareness of the latest trends and technologies in electrical engineering.
