Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Internal Auditor to be deployed at our client’s manufacturing facility in Mulund West. Reporting to S P T & Associates, an independent Chartered Accountancy firm, you will be responsible for evaluating and strengthening the organization’s internal controls, risk management, and operational efficiency. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive audits across key functions, providing actionable insights, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations to safeguard assets and enhance process integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct end-to-end internal audits across core functions including Procurement, Sales, HR, and Finance.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management frameworks.
• Perform detailed audits of fixed assets and capital expenditures to ensure accurate accounting and physical safeguarding.
• Identify operational inefficiencies, control gaps, and areas for improvement within the manufacturing environment.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans for management review.
• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely resolution.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical abilities and in-depth knowledge of audit standards and manufacturing processes. You must be proficient with audit tools, regulations, and capable of working independently with a high degree of accuracy.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 4–6 years of relevant internal audit experience, with a strong preference for candidates from the manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, financial analysis, and operational auditing.
• Working knowledge of key regulations: Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, etc.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments independently with strong attention to detail.
