Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Jewellery Merchandising Manager to lead our domestic market strategy for diamond jewellery. In this pivotal role, you will blend creative vision with commercial acumen to develop collections that resonate with clients and align with market trends. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire merchandise lifecycle—from concept to client delivery—while leading a team of designers and collaborating closely with production. This position requires a deep passion for jewellery, a keen understanding of client desires, and the ability to translate them into successful, sellable products.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Leading the end-to-end merchandising strategy for diamond jewellery within the domestic market.
• Meeting with clients to understand their preferences, requirements, and feedback, ensuring collections are market-responsive.
• Managing, mentoring, and guiding a team of jewellery designers to develop innovative and commercially viable designs.
• Applying expert knowledge of jewellery design, gemstones, precious metals, and current fashion trends to all product development.
• Overseeing the manufacturing process in collaboration with production teams to ensure designs are executed to the highest quality standards.
• Planning and managing the product assortment, inventory, and lifecycle from design through to launch.
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and retail teams to ensure cohesive strategy and successful product introductions.

We require:
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in diamond jewellery merchandising, specifically for the domestic Indian market.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles, with a strong ability to interpret and fulfill client requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and inspiring a team of designers.
• In-depth knowledge of jewellery design, diamonds, colored gemstones, precious metals, and prevailing market trends.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end jewellery manufacturing processes and quality parameters.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• A collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Jewellery Design, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related relevant field.
