We are seeking a dedicated and personable Captain to lead the front-of-house team in delivering the highest standard of personalized, attentive service. The Captain is the face of our cafe, responsible for ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and delighted from arrival to departure.
In this dynamic role, you will oversee the daily flow of service, ensuring seamless operations and upholding our commitment to quality and detail. You will be pivotal in crafting the warm, inviting atmosphere our guests expect.
Key responsibilities include:
• Greeting guests warmly, managing reservations, and strategically seating parties to ensure an optimal and timely dining flow.
• Taking orders, offering expert recommendations, and personally ensuring all guest needs and requests are promptly and thoughtfully met.
• Overseeing the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining our high standards of presentation.
• Ensuring all dining areas, service stations, and tables are impeccably clean, sanitized, and well-organized before, during, and after service.
• Handling the billing process with accuracy and discretion, processing various forms of payment, and ensuring a smooth and gracious departure for all guests.

Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of total work experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is required. Prior experience in a supervisory or captain role is a strong plus.
• Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consistently friendly, polished, and customer-focused attitude.
• Abilities: Proven ability to multitask efficiently, manage time under pressure, and maintain a calm, organized demeanor during peak hours.
