Job Description
We are a design studio based in Wakad, Pune, seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing residential and commercial interior projects from concept to completion. You will translate client visions into functional and beautiful spaces while ensuring smooth coordination with all stakeholders. (This position is open to female candidates only.)
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet with clients to deeply understand their design requirements, budget constraints, and project timelines.
• Develop space plans, layouts, and comprehensive design concepts that meet client needs.
• Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and working drawings for execution.
• Select and specify all materials, colors, furniture, lighting, and finishes.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and site supervisors to ensure design intent is realized.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to approved drawings.
• Manage design revisions, obtain necessary client approvals, and maintain all project documentation.
• Ensure the quality, safety, and timely completion of all assigned projects.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a passionate designer with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on approach. We welcome both experienced professionals and talented freshers with a robust portfolio.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Architecture or a Degree/Diploma in Interior Design.
• 2+ years of practical experience in interior design is preferred, but freshers with strong skills and a compelling portfolio are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in essential design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, and at least one rendering tool (3ds Max, V-Ray, or Lumion).
• Strong creative and aesthetic sense with knowledge of materials, finishes, and modular furniture.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• Basic knowledge of project costing and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
