Job Description
Nirvana Lifespaces is seeking an experienced and highly organized Store Keeper to manage material inventory for our high-value Residential and Commercial construction projects. Based at project sites, this role involves complete oversight of store operations, ensuring accurate material handling, meticulous documentation, and seamless coordination between the site and head office to support project efficiency and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end store operations at residential and commercial project sites, from material receipt to issuance.
• Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of all incoming construction materials against Purchase Orders, and prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
• Issue materials to site teams strictly against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock registers, inward-outward records, daily consumption reports, and tool ledgers.
• Handle all inventory records using SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word) for precise tracking and reporting.
• Ensure proper storage, stacking, labeling, and safety compliance for all materials to prevent damage and loss.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile counts with system records to maintain accuracy.
• Monitor and control material wastage, pilferage, and shortages, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
• Coordinate effectively with Site Engineers, Procurement, Accounts, and Head Office (HO) teams.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.
• Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, site discipline, and safety standards.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with substantial experience in construction site stores, proficiency in SAP, and a strong sense of integrity and accountability.
Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: Minimum HSC / Diploma; a Graduation degree is preferred.
• Mandatory Industry Experience: Proven experience working as a Store Keeper specifically within the Real Estate / Construction industry.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience managing stores for residential and commercial construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, their specifications, and storage requirements.
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP-based inventory management systems.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Word for data management, reporting, and documentation.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong coordination, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of integrity, discipline, and accountability.
