Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive MIS Executive to join our team. In this full-time, in-person role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our organisation’s critical IT infrastructure and systems. Your work will ensure network stability, support project initiatives, and facilitate smooth internal communication regarding all technology matters.
• Your primary responsibility is the implementation, management, and monitoring of our computer networks, including LAN, WAN, and server environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• You will provide essential technical troubleshooting and support, diagnosing and resolving network and system issues efficiently to minimise business disruption.
• A key part of your role involves leading IT-related project management initiatives, coordinating tasks and timelines to ensure successful implementation from start to finish.
• You will be responsible for maintaining core infrastructure such as Cisco Routers and virtual environments using VMWare, while utilising tools like SolarWinds and Jira for monitoring and project tracking.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT professional with a strong foundation in networking, system administration, and project coordination. You must be a problem-solver who can manage complex infrastructure while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in computer networking, LAN/WAN technologies, and server management are required. Hands-on experience with Cisco Routers, VMWare virtualization, and network monitoring tools like SolarWinds is essential.
• Project & Coordination Skills: Proven project management skills and experience using Jira for project tracking and coordination are necessary for this role.
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to maintain system integrity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical information clearly.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Information Technology role is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to manage IT infrastructure and support projects.
