Job Description
The Artonaut is seeking a hands-on Graphic Design Intern with a keen eye for detail to help bring creative ideas to life across digital and physical formats. This is an execution-focused role where you will collaborate directly with the founder to produce polished visual assets, from marketing creatives to product mockups and UI refinements. You will gain practical exposure to the entire design-to-production workflow, learning how graphics translate into real-world products.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Creating product mockups, posters, and digital marketing visuals for websites and catalogs.
• Preparing print-ready files with correct layouts, margins, and color formats.
• Maintaining consistent visual branding across all digital and physical assets.
• Assisting with UI polish in Figma, focusing on spacing, alignment, and typography.
• Supporting the design-to-development handoff and basic front-end tweaks (HTML/CSS familiarity is a plus).
• Learning production basics, including file preparation for print and performing visual quality checks.
Skill Requirement
This role is perfect for a practical, detail-oriented designer who prefers creating clean, usable visuals over theoretical discussion. You should be comfortable iterating quickly based on feedback and have a foundational understanding of layout and design tools.
We are looking for:
• A graphic design-focused mindset with a strong eye for spacing, alignment, and typography.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
• Basic understanding of layouts and print-ready design specifications.
• Ability to follow references and feedback to iterate designs efficiently.
• A preference for hands-on execution and making visuals polished and functional.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi is preferred.
Internship Details:
• Job Type: Internship (3–4 month contract).
• Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (In-person work required).
• Preferred Education: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or above.
• Portfolio: A portfolio of graphic design work is required for application.
