Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Executive to join our hotel’s supply chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products and services, negotiating favourable terms, and ensuring timely procurement to support daily hotel operations. You will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs, evaluate suppliers, and ensure value for money without compromising on quality.
Your core responsibilities will include:
• Researching, identifying, and evaluating potential vendors for hotel products and services.
• Negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value.
• Analysing product reviews, testing samples, and conducting quality comparisons.
• Performing detailed cost comparisons to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Working closely with department managers and team members to ensure procurement requirements are met on time.
• Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and ensuring compliance with hotel standards.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a proactive negotiator with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for quality, and a solid understanding of procurement principles within the hospitality industry. You should be a collaborative team player with excellent communication abilities and a results-driven approach.
We require the following qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of total work experience, with at least 1 year specifically in hotel procurement or a related role.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to evaluate product quality, compare costs, and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools is an advantage.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively under deadlines.
