Job Description
We are looking to hire a Fashion Accessories Merchandiser with specialized experience in the design and manufacturing processes of women’s handbags for export markets. This role requires a candidate who can bridge creative design with commercial execution, ensuring products meet both aesthetic and quality standards for the European Union. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with formal qualifications and hands-on experience in fashion accessories, specifically handbags.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end merchandising process from concept to production. Your key duties will include:
• Collaborating with design and production teams to develop handbag collections suitable for EU markets.
• Managing sampling, material sourcing, and supplier communication to ensure quality and compliance.
• Overseeing production timelines, costings, and order fulfillment to meet export deadlines.
• Ensuring all products adhere to EU regulations, quality standards, and brand specifications.
• Analyzing market trends and customer feedback to align product development with demand.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate will have a formal background in fashion merchandising or design, with specific knowledge of handbag construction, materials, and EU export requirements. Strong coordination skills and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this role.
Must-have qualifications:
