Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Physical Education (Sports) Teacher to promote health, fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students from Grades 1 to 5. This full-time, on-site role involves planning and conducting age-appropriate physical education sessions in alignment with CBSE guidelines and NEP 2020 principles. The teacher will foster holistic physical, mental, and emotional development while ensuring safety, encouraging participation, and training students for competitive events.
Your responsibilities will span curriculum delivery, student development, and event coordination. Key duties include:
• Planning and delivering a structured Physical Education curriculum aligned with CBSE standards.
• Conducting engaging classes that promote fitness, teamwork, discipline, and life skills such as leadership and perseverance.
• Identifying and training students for inter-house and inter-school sports competitions.
• Ensuring safety during all activities, maintaining sports equipment, and promoting health and hygiene awareness.
• Coordinating with other teachers, organizing school sports events, and participating in professional development.

The ideal candidate is a motivated and disciplined educator with strong communication skills, the ability to manage groups, and a passion for fostering physical and holistic well-being in young students.
Must-have qualifications:
• B.P.Ed. (4-year degree) or equivalent such as B.Sc. (Health and Physical Education) with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching or coaching experience in a school or sports academy setting (fresh graduates with relevant training experience may apply).
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
• Ability to manage large groups, maintain discipline, and ensure safety during physical activities.
• Sound understanding of child development, fitness training, and sports safety protocols.
