Olympia National School, Pune is an emerging CBSE-patterned institution on a spacious 3-acre campus, dedicated to progressive, holistic education with a strong focus on academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. We are seeking a dynamic Public Relations Officer (PRO) to build and champion our brand, drive admissions, and foster strong community ties. In this high-visibility, in-person role, you will be the key ambassador for the school, responsible for managing public perception, proactively generating leads through various channels including cold calling, and promoting our unique offerings to families in Vishrantwadi and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Admissions & Parent Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for all prospective parent inquiries via walk-ins, calls, emails, and digital platforms. Conduct school tours, counseling sessions, and presentations to convert inquiries into admissions, with a strong focus on proactive follow-up and outreach.
Brand Building & Marketing: Support strategic communication to position the school as a leading CBSE institution. Represent the school at education fairs, community events, and local forums to enhance visibility and credibility.
Community & Outreach: Develop relationships with preschools, activity centers, and local influencers. Promote the school’s sports programs and after-school clubs, which are open to both enrolled students and the wider community.
Media & Communication: Coordinate content for promotional materials and support digital communication on social media and the website. Draft official announcements and manage the school’s public messaging.
Coordination & Reputation Management: Work closely with the Principal, academic teams, and management to ensure consistent messaging. Professionally handle parent feedback and concerns, upholding the school’s reputation and values at all times.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for an articulate, proactive, and empathetic professional with a passion for education and community engagement. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, a skilled relationship-builder, and comfortable with both inbound and outbound promotional activities.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in public relations, admissions, education marketing, or a customer-facing role, with prior experience in a school or educational institution strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Marathi/Hindi is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, counseling, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain academic frameworks.
Well-organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with discretion and a child-centric approach.
