The Assistant Manager – Accounts will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support account finalization and audits. This role involves close coordination with senior finance authorities and requires leadership skills to manage a small accounting team while maintaining accuracy and compliance across all financial records.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and finalization of accounts
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements
• Coordinate with CA and auditors during internal and statutory audits
• Monitor cash flow, vendor payments, and receivables
• Prepare budget vs. actual reports and variance analysis
• Maintain strong financial controls and accurate financial reporting
• Review and approve accounting work completed by junior team members
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, supervisory experience, and hands-on exposure to e-commerce accounting. The role demands attention to detail, analytical ability, and the capability to lead a team while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Proven experience handling e-commerce accounting
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP
• Ability to guide, review, and mentor junior accounting staff
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
