Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plant Administration Manager to oversee and optimize all facility and administrative operations at our manufacturing site. In this integral leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the entire spectrum of plant infrastructure, maintenance, vendor contracts, scrap management, and compliance. Your focus will be on ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and a safe, well-maintained work environment that supports our manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilities & Infrastructure Management: Oversee daily facility operations, including building maintenance, office areas, canteen, stores, and common spaces. Implement and monitor a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule for facility assets and manage asset lifecycle replacements.
• Housekeeping & Hygiene Control: Develop and manage daily and periodic cleaning schedules based on established SOPs. Ensure high hygiene standards across production-support areas, washrooms, cafeteria, and utilities, conducting regular audits to maintain compliance.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Lead vendor empanelment, negotiations, SLA tracking, and performance governance. Ensure all vendors comply with statutory, safety, and policy requirements. Validate invoices and maintain pricing benchmarks for cost accuracy.

Skill Requirement

We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong operational and leadership capabilities, extensive experience in plant or facility administration, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate excels in vendor management, cost control, compliance, and stakeholder coordination within a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5–12 years of hands-on experience in plant administration, facilities management, or factory support operations within a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse setting.
• Proven expertise in vendor governance, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
• Experience in scrap management, disposal processes, and compliance documentation.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost management, and MIS reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, safety compliance, and statutory regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive process improvements and implement efficiency measures.
