Job Description

Join the Rainbow Group of Companies as an Admission Counselor, a key role in driving branch admissions and ensuring an exceptional parent experience. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end admission process, from initial inquiry to enrollment and ongoing student support, while actively contributing to achieving branch targets in our Thane location.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets as assigned by the Branch Manager (BM).

Professionally attend to all inquiries, walk-ins, and leads, ensuring inquiry forms are accurately filled.

Guide prospective parents through school details, conduct campus tours, and manage admission formalities.

Maintain daily reports for HR, accounting, and record-keeping for BM review.

Handle cash, cheques, and fee collections securely and update financial records.

Accurately enter and update student data in the school ERP system on a daily basis.

Conduct follow-up calls to convert leads and ensure timely fee payments from new and existing admissions.

Coordinate with the Head Office (HO) for ID cards, uniforms, book kits, and other branch requisitions.

Manage social media presence by uploading posts, event pictures, and videos.

Address parent concerns in the BM’s absence and provide daily reports on attendance, transport, etc.

Skill Requirement

We are looking for a target-driven, organized, and empathetic professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for education. The ideal candidate is proficient in administrative tasks, CRM/ERP systems, and parent relationship management.

Required Skills & Attributes:

Sales & Counseling Skills: Strong persuasive and counseling abilities to convert inquiries into admissions.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

Administrative Proficiency: Experience in maintaining records, handling cash, and preparing reports.

Tech Savviness: Comfort with ERP systems, basic accounting software, and social media platforms.

Customer Service: Empathetic and patient approach to addressing parent concerns and building trust.

Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Follow-up & Coordination: Persistent and systematic in follow-ups and internal/external coordination.

Experience
Candidates with prior experience in admissions, counseling, customer service, or sales within the education sector will be preferred.

Preferred Experience:

1–3 years of experience as an Admission Counselor, Education Counselor, or similar role in a school/educational institution.

Experience in handling admissions, fee collection, parent interaction, and CRM/ERP systems.

Background in achieving sales or enrollment targets and managing administrative tasks.

Freshers with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude may also be considered.

Qualifications
A relevant educational background and professional demeanor are essential for this client-facing role.

Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields preferred).

Preferred:

Certification in Counseling, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or Digital Marketing.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with school management software.
