Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Junior Advocate with 2–4 years of experience in litigation to join our legal team. This role involves active participation in civil, family, and co-operative housing society matters, with a strong emphasis on court appearances, drafting, and client coordination. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with regular court visits and handling day-to-day legal operations under the guidance of senior advocates.
Your key responsibilities will cover a wide range of litigation support and case management tasks. This includes:
• Attending court regularly for hearings, proceedings, and case follow-ups.
• Drafting and vetting legal documents such as replies, notices, affidavits, petitions, and written statements.
• Assisting senior advocates in case preparation, legal research, and strategy development.
• Coordinating with clients, court officials, clerks, and government offices as needed.
• Maintaining organized case files, tracking hearing dates, and managing legal correspondence.
• Conducting legal research and analyzing case laws to support ongoing matters.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate will be a law graduate with practical litigation experience, strong drafting abilities, and familiarity with court procedures. You should be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic legal environment.
Must-have qualifications:
• Law graduate (LLB) with 2–4 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Hands-on experience in regular court appearances is mandatory.
• Strong drafting and communication skills in English; proficiency in Marathi or Hindi is preferred.
• Familiarity with court procedures, e-filing, and legal documentation.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle client coordination effectively.
Preferred skills:
• Exposure to labour laws or industrial matters is an added advantage.
• Organized, responsible, and willing to travel locally for court-related work.
• Comfortable working in a full-time, on-site role based in Mulund, Mumbai.
