Job Description
Raj Lakhani Architects and Designers (RLAD) is seeking a Junior Architect to join our team in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. This full-time, on-site role offers a unique 360-degree learning experience in a multidisciplinary design firm. You will work closely on bespoke interior and architectural projects, from initial concept to final execution, gaining hands-on exposure across residential, commercial, and retail spaces.
• Assist in conceptualizing and developing design drawings, presentations, and detailed technical documentation for various projects.
• Collaborate with senior designers on project development, material selection, vendor research, and client meetings.
• Participate in on-site evaluations to ensure design precision and adherence to project specifications.
• Contribute to all project stages, from ideation to execution, in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a recent architecture graduate or a professional with 0-3 years of experience, proficient in essential design software and eager to grow. A passion for design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to learn quickly are key to thriving in this role.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field is required.
• 0-3 years of professional experience in architecture or interior design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite is required; knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper is a significant advantage.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
• Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate near Ghatkopar, Mumbai, for full-time, in-person work. A portfolio submission is required for application.
