At drnk, we are a dynamic and rapidly expanding brand offering affordable, low-calorie beverages like iced coffees, matcha, and slushies. With our flagship store in Bandra West and plans to open more locations, we are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our vibrant team. This role is central to creating an exceptional customer experience in our fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will be the face of our brand, engaging customers, crafting quality beverages, and contributing to the welcoming ‘vibe’ that defines drnk.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly, understand their preferences, and guide them through our menu of low-calorie beverages.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, matcha, and slushies by following precise recipes and presentation standards.
• Educate customers about our offerings, provide tailored suggestions, and answer any questions to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, equipment, and work areas, adhering to all health and safety standards.
• Manage inventory by restocking supplies, including coffee beans, milk, and other essentials, and perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Actively contribute to a positive team environment, supporting colleagues and ensuring smooth store operations during peak hours.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a passionate coffee enthusiast with prior experience in a fast-paced cafe setting. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused team player who thrives in a dynamic startup culture, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a genuine love for crafting quality beverages.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience working as a Barista, preferably in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
• A genuine passion for coffee, with a specific interest in cold coffees and modern beverage trends.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow food safety regulations.
• Must be able to commute to and work from our store location in Khar-Bandra, Mumbai.
