Job Description
Platinum Hospital Pvt Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineer to manage and maintain critical hospital equipment. The role involves ensuring the reliability and safety of medical devices through systematic maintenance and prompt technical support in a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, calibration, and preventive maintenance of medical equipment as per OEM guidelines.
Troubleshoot and repair devices in critical areas such as ICU, OT, Cath Lab, and Emergency.
Maintain accurate equipment logs, service history, and AMC/warranty records for compliance.
Ensure adherence to biomedical safety standards and NABH/JCI protocols.
Support procurement by providing technical specifications and evaluating vendors.
Train hospital staff on the safe and proper handling of biomedical equipment.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate will hold a B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering and possess 4–5 years of hands-on hospital-based experience. Strong technical knowledge and a commitment to patient safety are essential for this role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech degree in Biomedical Engineering.
4–5 years of practical experience in a hospital biomedical engineering role.
In-depth understanding of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems in medical devices.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with NABH/JCI compliance and biomedical safety standards.
Good documentation skills for maintaining equipment logs and service records.
Willingness to train staff and collaborate across hospital departments.
