PSYCHED is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assessment and counseling services to children with special needs and their families, playing a vital role in supporting their developmental and emotional well-being. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement intervention plans and contribute to a supportive therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individual and family counseling for children with special needs.
• Deliver counseling sessions to parents and children based on goals established by the Developmental Pediatrician and the child’s specific intervention plan.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation by completing daily log sheets and progress notes at the workplace.
• Ensure strict adherence to all Clinical and Non-Clinical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Actively participate in and contribute to scheduled clinical meetings for professional development and knowledge sharing.
• Engage in organizational events and initiatives to support the team and community.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a qualified psychologist with a strong foundational knowledge in clinical practice, empathy for working with children and families, and excellent collaborative skills. Freshers with a strong academic background are welcome to apply.
Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (M.Phil., Psy.D., or MA/MSc) is mandatory.
• Language: Proficiency in Marathi is required for effective communication with clients and families.
• Experience: Open to both freshers and experienced candidates. A minimum of 1 year of total work or clinical practicum experience is preferred.
• Clinical Skills: Strong foundation in psychological assessment, counseling techniques, and developmental psychology.
• Personal Attributes: High levels of empathy, patience, and professionalism. Must be detail-oriented and committed to ethical practice.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and follow structured intervention plans.
