Job Description
In this senior medical role, you will provide comprehensive and expert care across critical and general medical settings. Your primary focus will be on managing life-threatening conditions in the ICU and Emergency Department, while also ensuring seamless patient care through pre-operative evaluations, post-operative recovery, and both inpatient (IPD) and outpatient (OPD) management. You will be instrumental in upholding the highest clinical standards through evidence-based protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• ICU, Critical Care & Emergency Medicine: Attend all ICU emergencies, manage acute respiratory cases, and perform essential critical care procedures, including the management of ventilator-dependent patients and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
• Pre-Operative Evaluation: Conduct thorough pre-operative fitness assessments for surgical patients and coordinate effectively with anesthesia, surgical, and critical care teams to ensure patient readiness.
• Post-Operative Management: Monitor post-operative recovery, ensure patient stability, and manage clinical progress using protocol-based strategies to guarantee a safe and fast recovery.
• IPD & OPD Clinical Duties: Perform daily inpatient rounds, document progress notes, make treatment decisions, and provide OPD consultations and follow-ups. This includes admitting and managing General Medicine and Chest Medicine cases.
• Clinical Protocols & Drug Guidelines: Actively define, implement, and adhere to standardized treatment protocols and drug usage guidelines to achieve exceptional patient recovery standards through evidence-based medicine.
Skill Requirement
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled physician with robust experience in critical care and internal medicine. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic foundation, hands-on experience in high-pressure environments, and the collaborative skills necessary for multispecialty healthcare delivery.
Desired Profile & Qualifications:
• Mandatory Qualification: MBBS degree with a valid Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) registration.
• Preferred Specialization: MD/DNB in General Medicine or MD/DNB in Chest Medicine / Pulmonology.
• Critical Care Certification: Fellowship or diploma in critical care (e.g., IDCCM, IFCCM) is highly desirable.
• Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in ICU, Respiratory Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Internal Medicine is preferred.
• Clinical Skills: Strong proficiency in patient management, clinical diagnosis, and handling medical emergencies efficiently.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate effectively with multispecialty teams and ensure integrated patient care.
