Upstep Academy, India’s leading chess institute, is seeking a dynamic Customer Relationship Executive for the afternoon shift at our Mumbai office. This full-time, permanent role is crucial for maintaining exceptional relationships with parents and ensuring a seamless experience for our students. Based at our head office in Andheri East, you will be the primary point of contact for resolving parent inquiries, managing class logistics, and fostering long-term engagement.

Your core responsibilities include addressing general queries, proactively communicating about class cancellations or rescheduling, and acting as a vital communication link between trainers and parents. A key focus will be on student retention and participation, achieved through regular follow-ups to encourage involvement in internal tournaments and by promoting course renewals and upselling. This role is perfect for a young, energetic individual passionate about service and education.

Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve general inquiries and provide support to parents.
• Manage class schedules by informing parents of cancellations or rescheduling.
• Collect feedback from trainers, verify details, and communicate effectively to parents.
• Conduct regular follow-up calls to encourage student participation in internal tournaments.
• Focus on customer retention by promoting course renewals and identifying upselling opportunities.

Skill Requirement

We are looking for a fresher or a professional with 1-2 years of experience in customer service or support. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a proactive and problem-solving attitude. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced educational environment and be dedicated to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Strong interpersonal skills and a polite, patient demeanor are essential.

Candidates must be willing to work a six-day week (Monday to Saturday) with a fixed Sunday off and be comfortable traveling to our head office in Marol, Andheri East. This role offers a great opportunity to grow with a well-established brand in the education sector.

Required Skills & Competencies:
• 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service, Support, or Relationship Management (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required).
• Strong skills in customer service, retention, and support.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Friendly, patient, and solution-oriented approach.
