Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Operator for a temporary, on-site contract. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing textual and numerical data from various source documents into our systems. The ideal candidate will be efficient, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality while meeting daily deadlines. This position is based in Vikhroli West, Mumbai, and requires immediate availability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Insert customer and account data accurately from source documents into designated systems within set time limits.
• Compile, verify, sort, and prepare source data to ensure it is ready for computer entry.
• Review all data for errors or deficiencies, correct incompatibilities, and validate output.
• Research and obtain further information to complete any incomplete documents.
• Apply established data program techniques and procedures for efficient processing.
• Generate reports, store completed work correctly, and perform routine backup operations.
• Operate office equipment such as scanners and printers as needed for document management.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information handled.
• Respond to queries by accessing and providing information from relevant files.
• Ensure compliance with all data integrity, security policies, and office procedures.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a proficient individual with strong administrative and data entry skills. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this temporary role. A solid foundation in basic office software and procedures is required.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum educational qualification: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or a B.Com degree.
• Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, Office Clerk, or in a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with administrative duties and standard office equipment (e.g., scanner, printer).
• Fast and accurate typing skills with excellent knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on tasks.
• A strong sense of discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Immediate joining is required (no notice period).
Experience & Logistics:
• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract (3-month duration).
• Pay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month.
• Schedule: Day shift.
• Location: In person at our Vikhroli West, Mumbai office.
• Language: Proficiency in English is preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of total work and 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
