Join the innovative R&D team at divide by zero tech for a 6-month Embedded Internship, where you’ll work at the cutting edge of smart 3D printing technology. Based in Navi Mumbai, this role offers a unique opportunity to blend embedded systems with AI/ML, contributing to the development of intelligent control and diagnostic systems that enhance 3D printer performance and reliability. You will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, turning concepts into functional prototypes.
• Develop and test embedded code in C++ and Python for hardware control and monitoring.
• Implement ML algorithms for defect detection, surface analysis, and real-time process optimization.
• Interface and calibrate hardware peripherals (sensors, motors, cameras) with Raspberry Pi and microcontrollers.
• Work with communication protocols like UART, I²C, SPI, and CAN for system integration.
• Assist in deploying machine learning models on embedded hardware (Edge AI).
• Calibrate and control 3D printer components such as heaters, stepper motors, and fans.
• Analyze system data to improve printing accuracy, stability, and performance.
• Document experimental results, algorithms, and hardware-software integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototyping and system integration.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a motivated intern with strong programming skills and a foundational understanding of embedded systems and electronics. The ideal candidate is passionate about hardware-software integration, has a keen interest in AI/ML applications on the edge, and thrives in a hands-on, problem-solving environment within a dynamic R&D setting.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller fundamentals.
• Familiarity with computer vision, image processing, and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or ESP32 development boards.
• Basic understanding of electronics, circuits, sensors, and actuators.
• Familiarity with 3D printer hardware components (stepper motors, drivers, sensors) is preferred.
• Understanding of communication protocols: UART, SPI, I²C, CAN.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Interest in Edge AI, real-time monitoring, and process automation.

• Stipend: ₹8,086 – ₹15,000 per month
• Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra (In-person)
