Job Description
We are a prominent garment manufacturer and exporter seeking a meticulous Export Documentation Executive to join our team in Mumbai. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Andheri East (SEEPZ). You will be the cornerstone of our international trade operations, ensuring all documentation complies with regulations and facilitates smooth customs clearance and shipment. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire documentation lifecycle, from pre-shipment preparation to post-shipment follow-up.
Your key duties will include:
• Independently handling all pre- and post-shipment documentation for exports and imports, including invoices, packing lists, and declarations.
• Coordinating with various stakeholders including Clearing & Forwarding Agents (CHA), shipping lines, and the DGFT portal.
• Booking shipments and managing documentation through relevant online portals and software.
• Liaising with internal departments and the factory to gather necessary information for accurate document preparation.
• Ensuring all processes adhere to export-import regulations and company standards.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional with solid experience in export-import procedures. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role.
We require:
• A graduate degree or a Diploma in Export Import Management.
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in export/import documentation (any industry).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with export software or ERP packages.
• Fluency in English and Hindi, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be currently residing in Mumbai, Thane, or Navi Mumbai (local candidates only, no relocation).
