Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Fashion Design Assistant for a full-time, permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual to work directly with the company founders, gaining hands-on experience across the entire design and development process for the export market. The role involves translating buyer concepts into production-ready designs, with a high learning curve in a practical, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist founders with design and trend research using online resources and create initial sketches based on buyer directions.
• Develop professional CAD sketches and technical drawings for buyer approval.
• Support the development process, translating digital designs and pictures into actual prints and garments.
• Learn to identify and help resolve design and production-related issues that arise during development and manufacturing.
• Work in close collaboration with the founders, ensuring designs meet buyer specifications and quality standards.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a candidate with a contemporary fashion sense, strong technical skills, and a keen eagerness to learn. The ideal assistant is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, hands-on setting.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of total work experience is preferred, though motivated freshers with strong portfolios may be considered.
• Technical Skills: Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW for creating CAD sketches and technical drawings.
• Attributes: Must have an up-to-date fashion sense, a good eye for detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Logistics: Ideally, candidates should reside within a short commuting distance of Marol Metro Station for convenience.
