Job Summary:
This full-time, in-person role is for a creative and dedicated Fashion Garment Designer. You will be instrumental in shaping the brand’s identity by designing sophisticated women’s and men’s apparel collections that embody our modern-luxury ethos. You will oversee the entire design journey, from initial concept to final production, ensuring each garment reflects our commitment to quality, comfort, and timeless style.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting trend research and developing seasonal design concepts aligned with the brand’s vision.
• Creating detailed sketches and tech packs for women’s and men’s linen garments.
• Selecting fabrics, trims, and colors that emphasize quality and sustainability.
• Leading the sampling process, from initial prototypes to final fits.
• Working closely with production teams and masters to ensure flawless garment construction and excellent fit.
• Managing multiple design projects simultaneously to meet critical seasonal deadlines.
Skill Requirement
We are seeking a designer with a strong aesthetic vision, deep technical knowledge of garment construction, and a genuine passion for natural fabrics and sustainable design. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional who can translate concepts into beautifully crafted, commercially viable collections.
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or Apparel Design (Graduates from NIFT, Pearl, NID, or equivalent institutions are preferred).
• Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in designing women’s garments.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong sketching ability and advanced skills in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).
• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of garment construction, pattern making, draping, and fit. A strong sense of aesthetics, color theory, and textiles is essential.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple design projects and adhere to strict seasonal timelines.
• Collaboration: Excellent ability to work effectively with pattern masters, karigars, and production teams to achieve superior garment fits.
