Job Description
This role is a dynamic blend of sales, operations, and financial management, designed for a proactive professional who thrives on end-to-end deal ownership. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, negotiating profitable deals, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. Your focus will extend beyond sales to include supply chain coordination, timely delivery, and financial recovery, requiring a balanced commercial and operational mindset.
• Sales & Business Development: Achieve monthly sales targets by generating new client leads, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals. You will prepare competitive quotations and negotiate terms with clients and suppliers.
• Operations & Coordination: Oversee the supply chain by procuring materials at optimal rates, coordinating logistics for availability and delivery, and ensuring on-time shipment of quality materials to clients.
• Financial Management: Ensure timely billing and actively manage payment recovery. You will address payment delays, handle disputes, and maintain internal financial compliance.
• Relationship & Data Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and transporters. Maintain a detailed CRM and stay informed of market trends to provide competitive offers.
• Leadership & Reporting: Guide junior team members, update necessary MIS reports for management, and participate in performance reviews to contribute to team and business goals.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a result-oriented graduate with 1-3 years in sales or business development, possessing strong analytical abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Building materials experience is advantageous but not essential. Success in this fast-paced field role demands excellent communication, a knack for negotiation, and a dedication to customer and operational excellence.
• Experience: 1-3 years in sales/business development. Experience in the Building Materials industry is a plus.
• Core Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills. Must be an effective communicator.
• Work Attitude: Proactive, result-driven, and capable of resolving disputes efficiently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced field environment.
• Education: Graduate in any discipline.
