Job Description
This role is central to our manufacturing operations, focusing on the assembly and maintenance of welding and cutting equipment. The Fitter will be responsible for executing precise mechanical fitting and assembly tasks to ensure the production of high-quality industrial equipment. By adhering to strict safety and quality protocols, the position directly supports operational efficiency and product reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and fit components for welding machines, cutting machines, torches, regulators, and related systems.
• Perform mechanical operations including drilling, grinding, tapping, and basic fabrication.
• Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.
• Conduct pre-assembly checks on parts and tools to ensure readiness and quality.
• Ensure precise alignment, adjustment, and fitting of all mechanical components.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety of all tools, machines, and the work area.
• Perform routine inspections and carry out minor repairs as needed.
• Assist in quality checks to verify products meet established company standards.
• Support inventory counting for parts used in the assembly process.
