About the Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Book Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing stories to life through visually compelling book covers, layouts, and illustrations. You will work closely with editorial and content teams to create high-quality print and digital designs that resonate with readers and enhance the visual identity of our publications.
Key Responsibilities
Design professional and creative book covers, interior layouts, illustrations, and activity pages.
Prepare print-ready files and digital assets, ensuring they meet technical and quality standards.
Create promotional graphics for social media, marketing campaigns, and online platforms.
Ensure proper alignment, formatting, and aesthetics of multilingual typography and layout.
Collaborate with editorial, content, and marketing teams to ensure design alignment with project goals.
Manage multiple design projects while adhering to deadlines and maintaining visual consistency.

Skill Requirement
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for a creative professional with hands-on experience in book design and a strong portfolio that demonstrates skill in layout, typography, and illustration. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and a keen eye for detail are essential.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in book publishing, book design, or a related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Familiarity with Canva is also required.
Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, typography, and composition.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate design ideas effectively.
Important Requirement
Must provide a portfolio showcasing relevant book design work (covers, layouts, illustrations, etc.). Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in designing for children’s books, educational material, or multilingual publications.
Knowledge of print production processes and preparing files for print.
Ability to adapt design style to fit different genres and target audience
