In this role, you will be at the creative forefront, developing new print designs each season to drive sales growth. You will conduct extensive research on market trends, competitors, and consumer insights to inform your designs. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Creating futuristic print designs and building seasonal presentation boards.
• Researching trends via WGSN, marketplaces, journals, and customer feedback.
• Ideating and presenting new style concepts based on design inputs and best-seller analysis.
• Enhancing previous best-sellers with strategic improvements and suggestions.
• Developing mood boards and presenting ideas to management and the team.
• Systematically organizing all approved designs for easy access and reference.
• Managing bi-weekly sampling of lab dips and prints, assisting in final selections.
• Ordering yardage for sampling based on finalized prints.
• Collecting and analyzing customer feedback to improve designs and loyalty.
Skill Requirement
We are seeking a creative and meticulous professional with a strong background in textile and print design. The ideal candidate will be insightful, trend-aware, and passionate about sustainable fashion.
The required qualifications and skills are:
• Female candidates preferred.
• Must be based in Mumbai and available for in-person work.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Proven ability in trend forecasting, print design, and creating mood boards.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in handling sampling processes and fabric coordination.
• Ability to analyze sales data and customer feedback for design improvement.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for team and management discussions.
