Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented designer to redesign and enhance the visual layout of our book content. This is a remote, project-based role where you will transform written material into visually engaging and reader-friendly formats for both print and digital distribution. You will collaborate closely with our editorial team to reimagine design elements that align with each book’s theme and target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Redesign and format book content—including covers, chapter layouts, and graphical elements—ensuring brand consistency.
Create visually appealing layouts for text, images, and infographics to improve readability and engagement.
Optimize designs for both print and digital formats (e.g., PDF, eBooks).
Collaborate with authors and editors to understand the tone, purpose, and audience of each project.
Review and iterate on designs based on team feedback.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a designer with a strong portfolio in layout design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and experience in handling long-form content such as books, manuals, or magazines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in book design or similar long-format projects.
Strong proficiency in CorelDRAW (note: job references CoralDraw/ CorelDRAW).
Solid understanding of layout principles, typography, and color theory.
Experience designing for both print and digital media.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of content creatively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with eBook formatting and publishing standards.
Knowledge of additional tools like Adobe InDesign or Photoshop.
Ability to create custom illustrations or graphics.
Higher Secondary (12th Pass) education preferred.
1+ year of relevant design experience.
