Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Greenhouse Manager to oversee daily operations within our hydroponic greenhouse facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete crop cycle, from seeding and transplanting to harvesting and post-harvest handling. Your expertise in hydroponic systems, nutrient management, and plant health will ensure the production of high-quality, sustainable produce in a controlled environment. This is a full-time, in-person position ideal for someone passionate about modern agriculture and precision farming.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire hydroponic crop cycle: sowing seeds, transplanting seedlings into growers, and monitoring plant growth.
• Precisely manage nutrient solution formulation, pH, and EC levels to optimize plant health and yield.
• Implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to maintain a pest-free growing environment.
• Schedule and perform harvesting of mature produce at peak quality.
• Oversee the post-harvest process, including grading, packing, and preparing invoices for dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of planting schedules, nutrient applications, pest control activities, and harvest yields.

Skill Requirement

The ideal candidate is a practical, observant, and responsible individual with direct experience in hydroponics or controlled environment agriculture. You should have a strong understanding of plant physiology, a keen eye for detail to spot early signs of stress or disease, and the ability to work methodically to maintain system efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven hands-on experience in hydroponic or greenhouse management is essential.
• Strong knowledge of plant nutrition, pH/EC management, and hydroponic growing systems (e.g., NFT, DWC).
• Experience in identifying common pests and diseases and implementing appropriate control measures.
• Ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks related to sowing, transplanting, and harvesting.
• Basic understanding of post-harvest handling and packaging standards for fresh produce.
• Good record-keeping skills and basic numerical ability for inventory and invoicing.
• Physical stamina to work in a greenhouse environment and handle manual tasks.
