Rush Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Intake & Billing Coordinator to join our team. This critical role is responsible for managing the end-to-end patient admission process and coordinating all related billing activities. You will act as a key communication hub between patients, their families, referral sources, medical staff, and the administration to ensure seamless care coordination and accurate financial operations.
This position requires you to manage sensitive information, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain efficient workflows in a fast-paced environment. Your diligence will directly impact patient experience and the operational success of our services.
Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinating and managing the intake process for new patient admissions, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Generating and sending invoices to private duty clients, tracking payments, and maintaining up-to-date billing logs and financial records.
• Communicating effectively with referral sources, site supervisors, and families via email and phone to coordinate care plans and provide updates.
• Verifying patient insurance eligibility, obtaining initial authorizations, and understanding complex aspects of US healthcare (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).
• Performing general administrative duties including scheduling appointments, updating electronic health records, managing databases, and providing professional telephone/reception support.

Requirements:
• Education: Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Experience: Prior experience in homecare, healthcare administration, or a US-based healthcare company is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge: Understanding of US health insurances, claims, Medicare/Medicaid, prior authorizations, and coordinated benefits is a significant advantage.
• Skills: Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication. Proficiency in MS Office and general administrative tasks is mandatory.
• Attributes: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and active listening skills. Ability to follow directions, work effectively in a team, and professionally manage job demands.
