Job Description
Technician to contribute to a groundbreaking project in AI-driven diagnostics. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in advancing our AI/ML algorithms by analyzing, annotating, and validating high-resolution peripheral blood smear (PBS) images using our state-of-the-art Micalys Whole Slide Scanner and online portal.
Analyze, annotate, and validate cell morphology in high-resolution scanned PBS images via our proprietary online annotation portal.
Provide and ensure access to high-quality PBS slides to build and expand a robust, diverse dataset for AI/ML training.
Support the team in the acquisition and management of additional PBS cases to continually enhance the dataset.
Ensure the highest standards of data accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the annotation and validation process.
Collaborate closely with our AI and technical teams to provide expert feedback, validate algorithm performance, and support continuous system refinement.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with hands-on hematology experience, a collaborative spirit, and an interest in the intersection of medical science and digital technology. Training on our specific tools and processes will be provided.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Life Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience analyzing peripheral blood smears is required.
Familiarity with digital pathology tools or software is a strong advantage, but not mandatory.
Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaborative skills.
Ability to follow protocols and adapt to a flexible, project-based work schedule.
