Job Description
Western India Electromedical Systems Pvt Ltd, a pioneer in Healthcare HVAC solutions since 1997, is seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Draftsman. This full-time, in-person role in Pune (PCMC) is critical for designing specialized HVAC systems for sterile environments like Modular Operation Theatres, ICUs, and IVF labs.
You will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that form the blueprint for infection-free critical care areas. Your work ensures our projects meet the highest standards of quality and client specifications through meticulous design and coordination.
Prepare detailed HVAC system designs, shop drawings, and accurate ducting layouts.
Conduct MEP coordination to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly with other building services.
Generate overall plans, schematics, and flow diagrams for project concepts and implementation.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for procurement and support the sales team with layouts and quantification.
Attend client and consultant meetings for technical drawing approvals and submittals
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a technically proficient draftsman with a strong grasp of HVAC principles, especially as applied to critical healthcare environments. Excellent collaboration skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this project-driven role.
We require a proactive professional who can manage technical documentation accurately and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams. A willingness to travel extensively is a key requirement for this position.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years total work experience, with 2+ years specifically in drafting HVAC shop drawings.
Hands-on expertise in AutoCAD 2D and MS Excel is mandatory.
Strong understanding of HVAC design, MEP coordination, and technical specification adherence.
Proficiency in English with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel 50% of the time for project and client needs.
