Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic ICT/Computer Science Teacher to guide students from Grades 1 to 10 in developing essential digital skills and technological awareness. This full-time, in-person role focuses on delivering engaging lessons using school-provided content while aligning with CBSE learning outcomes and NEP 2020 digital literacy goals. The teacher will foster a supportive learning environment, manage computer lab resources, and inspire responsible and creative use of technology.
Your responsibilities will cover instruction, student support, and classroom management. Key duties include:
• Delivering interactive, age-appropriate ICT lessons using provided lesson plans, worksheets, and presentations.
• Teaching fundamental to advanced computer concepts, including digital literacy, coding, problem-solving, and responsible technology use.
• Supporting students of varying skill levels and encouraging collaborative, project-based learning.
• Maintaining and managing computer lab equipment, reporting technical issues, and ensuring a safe learning environment.
• Collaborating with other teachers to integrate technology across subjects and participating in professional development workshops.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with strong classroom management skills, proficiency in educational technology, and a passion for teaching digital literacy to young learners.
For Primary (Grades 1–5):
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/BCA or any Bachelor’s degree with a recognized computer diploma (minimum 60% marks).
• B.Ed. preferred.
For Secondary (Grades 6–10):
• B.Sc./BCA/B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or related field (minimum 60% marks).
• B.Ed. mandatory; M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech. preferred for higher grades.
• CTET/TET qualification is an advantage.
