Apna Contractor is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead our interior projects in Goregaon, Mumbai. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing residential and commercial turnkey interior projects from initial concept through to final execution. You will lead the design process, developing innovative concepts and presenting them through mood boards and detailed 3D visualizations.
Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing all technical aspects, including space planning, material and finish selection, and project budgeting. A key part of the role involves coordination with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery. You will also review technical drawings and BOQs, ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and stay abreast of the latest industry trends to provide modern design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the interior design process from concept development to project completion.
• Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and 3D visualizations.
• Oversee space planning, material selection, and project budgeting.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors for seamless execution.
• Review and approve technical drawings, layouts, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Ensure projects are completed within set timelines and budgets.
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and modern design solutions.
• Guide and mentor junior designers and interns.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a seasoned interior design professional with a strong portfolio and proven expertise in both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of materials, finishes, and current design trends. Exceptional project management skills are essential to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
You must have excellent communication and client presentation skills, along with experience in site supervision. Proficiency in industry-standard design software is a mandatory requirement. This role is perfect for a leader who enjoys a collaborative environment and is passionate about mentoring others.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and interior design trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in client interaction, presentations, and site supervision.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (required).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential and commercial interior design (required).
• Fluency in English (required).

• Pay: ₹20,000 – ₹50,000 per month
