Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Drafter to join our team at our Fort, Mumbai office. This full-time role is central to our interior design projects, focusing on creating precise technical drawings that bridge design vision and on-site execution. You will play a key part in ensuring designs are feasible, within budget, and accurately implemented.
• Your primary responsibility will be creating and revising detailed Shop Drawings for new projects, updating them to reflect real-time site progress.
• You will be involved in site execution and management, providing essential supervision to ensure the design is faithfully constructed.
• A crucial aspect of the role is applying your understanding of site practicalities and budgeting to inform and aid the design process, ensuring plans are both beautiful and buildable.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a technically proficient drafter with hands-on site experience and a passion for meticulous interior design. You must be a practical problem-solver who can translate concepts into executable plans while aligning with our studio’s design ethos.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop are mandatory for producing high-quality drawings and visuals.
• Professional Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required. You must have a minimum of 1 year of total work experience, with specific experience in interior design being preferred.
• Core Experience: At least 2 years of combined office and on-site work experience is essential. A deep, practical understanding of site execution, supervision, and budgeting is critical.
