- First-class or equivalent CGPA in a Master’s degree in Economics, Sociology, or other social science disciplines from a recognized university or institute
- Candidates with at least one year of research or field study experience from a reputed institute or university, preferably on livelihood-related issues, agrarian studies, or rural development, and with evidence of publication in the relevant field, will be given preference
